[ARCHIVED] MARCH ARTS BOARD NEWS & EVENTS

Book Club will meet Wednesday, March 6th, 7-8 pm. The book being discussed will be “Welcome to the World, Baby Girl” by Fannie Flagg. Our April book will be “Jane Austen Ruined My Life” by Beth Pattillo.


Group Vocal Lesson Tuesday, March 12 at 7:00 pm. Come and learn the basics of pitch, breathing, and confidence at this vocal voice lesson taught by Lindsay Clark. This event is free but space is limited, so please sign up now at https://www.clintoncity.net/2213/Recreation, in person at the Clinton Recreation Center.


Children’s Dance Friday, March 15 6:30-8:00 pm. Kids young and old bring their very important adult to Clinton City’s unique spin on a parent-child dance. Refreshments served! Photo booth! Wear Green! No cost.


Our Clinton Idol competition will be a part of Clinton Heritage Days in June. Plan to take part. Tryouts will be May 9th. This event will be open to people 18 and younger.


Arts Board Member  We would like to thank Randy Williams for his years of service with the Clinton Arts Board. Randy will be leaving the board next month so we are looking for a new member for a one year term.  We meet the third Thursday of each month from 6-7 pm. The mission of the Arts Board is to plan, foster, encourage, and promote fine arts, performing arts, community enhancement programs, and other artistic and cultural activities; with the purpose of enriching the lives of Clinton City residents. Art Group meets Thursdays at the Recreation Building anytime between 9 am to 2 pm. Bring your own art or craft project.
