
Request for Proposal (RFP): Firework Vendors for the Clinton City Heritage Days Celebration
1. Introduction:
We are pleased to invite qualified firework vendors to submit proposals for the annual Clinton City Heritage Day’s Celebration. Our event is renowned for its spectacular fireworks display, drawing thousands of spectators each year.
2. Background Information:
This year's celebration will take place on June 8th, 2024, at Civic Center Park in Clinton, Utah.
3. Scope of Work:
We seek a dynamic, 20-25 minute aerial fireworks display, choreographed to a patriotic musical score. The display should include a variety of fireworks types, diameter sizes, and colors. Due to limited space for a safe fallout area/zone we have limited fireworks to 4” diameter or smaller. The fireworks shall be launched from the northwest softball field in the Clinton City Civic Center Park. Vendors are responsible for setup and cleanup, ensuring minimal environmental impact. Compliance with all Utah State firework safety regulations is mandatory.

4. Vendor Requirements:
Vendors must have at least 5 years of experience in conducting large-scale fireworks displays and provide evidence of previous successful events. A minimum of $1 million in liability insurance is required. Vendors must also hold all necessary permits/license for a fireworks display in Utah.
Please include a copy of current Utah State firework Outdoor Display Fireworks Operator License or any other applicable licenses/permits.
5. Proposal Submission Guidelines;
Proposals should include;
- Company Overview
- Description of Past Experience
- Proposed Detailed Fireworks Display Plan
- Detailed Pricing Structure
- At least three professional references

6. Evaluation Criteria:
Proposals will be evaluated based on creativity, vendor experience, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to safety standards. A preference will be given to vendors who demonstrate environmental responsibility in their operations.
7. Budget:
Clinton City has allocated a budget of up to $20,500 for this fireworks display. Please provide detailed costs in your proposal. Our intent is to get the best fireworks show for our budgeted amount of $20,500.00
8. Terms and Conditions:
The selected vendor will enter into a contract with Clinton City outlining payment terms, responsibilities, and legal considerations. A contingency plan for inclement weather must be included.
