PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSITION FOR REFERENDUM

Clinton City has received the total count of verified signatures from Davis County for the referendum filed. While the signatures are verified, the process is not complete at this point. A 45-day period will commence, during which residents may choose to withdraw their signature from the petition. Following this, Clinton City will certify whether the petition has a sufficient number of signatures according to voter participation areas, to qualify for placement on the November 2025 ballot.
The City is committed to facilitating our residents' right to use the processes available to them, and ensure the process is completed thoroughly.
The referendum is in relation to Ord 24-04z, is based upon a request by the property owners Foothill Ditch LLC and Terraform Development LLC, to change the zoning of 34.90 acres to RM/PRUD and amend the zoning map of Clinton city.
