Gary was born in the small town of Rupert Idaho and moved to Utah when he met his wife Kimberly. They have two children they raised here in Clinton. Gary graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor's of Integrated Science, and an emphasis in Urban Planning and Design. He spent 24 years working as an associate Architect and the last 3 years as the Design Build Manager for Hughes General Contractors.
He has served as the Associate Director for the Northern Utah Chapter of A.I.A., was on the General Plan Committee for Clinton City, and served on the Clinton City Planning Commission for 6 years.
